Job Requirements
- 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
- Ability to assist with Profit & Loss management including cash control, security procedures, inventory maintenance, and labor management
- Ability to ensure all employees receive proper training and resources
- Ability to champion Taco Bell's culture and values promoting equity, inclusion, and belonging
- Skills to lead efforts in individual and team recognition, collaboration, and motivation
- Ability to identify and recruit exceptional talent supporting the General Manager in the hiring process
- Strong communication skills for performance appraisals, disciplinary action, and employee motivation
- Adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and Occupational Health and Food Safety standards
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
- Strong communication skills for conducting performance appraisals, taking disciplinary action, and motivating and training employees
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Experience assisting with Profit & Loss management tasks such as cash control, security procedures, inventory maintenance, and labor management
- Familiarity with health and safety standards and corporate policies
- Ability to foster a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging within the team
- Demonstrated skills in recruitment and employee development
Job Duties
- Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by effectively modeling the MIC Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs
- Oversee team members adherence to Shift Excellence responsibilities, maintain high food safety standards, and uphold Core excellence
- Take charge of restaurant operations in the General Manager's absence
- Collaborate with the General Manager in assessing team performance, providing ongoing constructive and positive feedback
- Address employee relations issues as they arise, determine immediate resolutions, or escalate to the General Manager when necessary
- Assist in sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring team members while driving a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging
- Assist with Profit & Loss management including cash control, security procedures, inventory maintenance, and labor management
- Review financial reports and take appropriate actions to optimize performance
- Support the General Manager in facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are consistently followed
