The company supports its hotels across various domains including Operations, Sales & Marketing, Accounting, IT, and Human Resources, creating a collaborative environment that drives both employee success and guest satisfaction. Crestline's commitment to fostering leadership and innovation places it among the top companies in the hospitality sector, offering career development and strong corporate support to its associates.
The role of Assistant General Manager at Crestline Hotels & Resorts is a vital position designed to provide hands-on operational leadership to one of the company’s high-value business units. This role is ideal for professionals seeking to leverage their operational expertise while expanding their skills in financial management, forecasting, human resources, and accounting functions. Positioned as a key operational leader, the Assistant General Manager partners closely with the General Manager and corporate teams to ensure smooth daily operations and adherence to brand standards. The opportunity serves as a stepping stone for future executive roles within the hospitality domain.
Key responsibilities of the Assistant General Manager include championing guest satisfaction through rigorous adherence to hotel brand standards, mastering accounts receivable and payable functions promptly, and playing a significant role in human resources processes such as onboarding and staff optimization. Crestline Hotels encourages candidates who can balance strategic planning with proactive hands-on execution, foster team cohesion, and actively pursue market share growth against competitors. The successful candidate will exhibit leadership both on the floor and behind the scenes, engaging effectively with hotel staff, corporate leadership, and ownership teams.
This position requires competency in hotel information systems and strong communication skills, particularly in digital correspondence and data analysis through spreadsheets and databases. Candidates with prior experience in Select Service or Extended Stay properties, as well as proficiency with systems like Opera and M3, will find this role particularly rewarding. Crestline Hotels & Resorts values diversity and inclusivity, providing equal opportunity employment without discrimination based on race, gender, or any other protected status. Working as the Assistant General Manager offers a unique chance to be part of a respected brand in the hospitality space, backed by superior corporate support and a clear path for professional growth and success.
