The Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Chicken N Pickle plays a critical role in driving the restaurant’s financial success and operational efficiency. This full-time position is responsible for maintaining revenue, profitability, and service quality standards in a high-volume environment. The AGM oversees the daily restaurant operations ensuring production goals, productivity, and quality measures are consistently met. The ideal candidate for this role demonstrates strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot challenges calmly during busy times. They must be adept at using various restaurant management systems including HotSchedules, Point of Sale, and accounting software. Maintaining compliance with food safety and liquor regulations is a key aspect of the role, as is the ability to manage costs and optimize operational procedures to minimize waste. Job Duties

  • Oversee staffing levels and cost of goods
  • appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
  • control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
  • create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses
  • ensure compliance with food safety, liquor requirements, and quality standards
  • drive for financial accountability and manage financial aspects of the restaurant
  • maintain extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with an understanding of ingredients and dishes in a restaurant or catering organization
  • utilize restaurant management software, including HotSchedules, Point of Sale, and accounting software
