The role of Assistant Front Office Manager at Montage International is a critical leadership position within the company’s luxury resort operations. This role focuses on effectively managing the Front Office team to ensure smooth operations and an exceptional guest experience from arrival through departure. The Assistant Front Office Manager will be responsible for briefing staff on pertinent information, including VIP arrivals and daily group activities, while also cultivating positive relationships with local community leaders and vendors to enrich the guest experience. This position demands a proactive approach to guest service excellence, staff development, and operational efficiency. The Assistant Front Office Manager will lead by example, selecting, training, and scheduling front desk associates, managing inventory supplies, and implementing improved guest relations procedures to enhance communication and service delivery. This role requires adaptability, a positive attitude, and the ability to quickly learn and integrate new software tools. As part of the leadership team, the Assistant Front Office Manager will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of Montage International’s luxury hospitality services and supporting the company’s core values throughout all guest and team interactions. The position offers a competitive pay scale ranging from $70,304 to $72,000 annually, reflecting the significance of the role and the high level of expertise required. Job Requirements

  • College degree preferred
  • 2 to 3 years leadership experience in a luxury hotel
  • must possess a positive attitude
  • must be willing to participate in a learning environment

  • must be dependable and available to work within the resort on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demands

Job Qualifications

  • College degree preferred

  • excellent organizational and time management skills
  • strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Job Duties

  • Effectively leading and managing the Front Office team
  • guaranteeing that staff is adequately briefed on pertinent information regarding arrivals, VIP’s and daily group activities
  • creating and maintaining positive rapport and relationships with local community leaders and vendors alike
  • staying informed of the latest offerings within the community to guarantee the guest experience is exceptional
  • ensuring excellent customer service is provided to guests throughout their stay
  • selecting, training, and scheduling front desk Associates
  • maintaining new procedures for Guest Relations operations that improve processes and communication
  • ordering supplies and maintaining an appropriate level of inventory
  • communicating and developing front desk Associates to ensure all standards are met on a consistent basis
  • performing additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope based on business needs
