Avion Hospitality is a hospitality company known for managing and operating hotels independently from Marriott International, Inc. While Marriott International establishes global brand standards, Avion Hospitality separately controls all aspects related to employment, including hiring, firing, compensation, and benefits. This distinct business model allows Avion Hospitality to personalize its staffing and operational strategies according to its specific goals and customer service philosophies, ensuring a unique and personalized experience for guests and a professional work environment for employees.

The company is currently seeking a full-time Management professional for their Rooms and Guest Services Operations department. This managerial role is pivotal in maintaining high standards of guest service and operational excellence at the front desk. The salary range for this position is between $50,000 and $60,000 annually, complemented by various benefits, including insurance, retirement, paid time off, and travel discounts.

The role involves comprehensive front office management responsibilities ranging from staff supervision and training to operational oversight and guest satisfaction assurance. The manager will approach all interactions with a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner to ensure guests receive exceptional hospitality experiences. Regular attendance and adherence to Avion Hospitality's standards concerning personal appearance, safety, and professional conduct are critical parts of the role.

In addition to greeting guests and resolving their requests or complaints efficiently, the manager will assist in motivating and coaching front desk personnel, ensuring all employees meet the required training certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid. This role also involves active participation in hiring and performance appraisal processes, helping to promote employee morale and ongoing professional development.

The managerial duties extend to maximizing room revenue by analyzing occupancy and rate efficiency daily, supervising night audit functions, monitoring payroll and scheduling, and maintaining meticulous financial policies related to purchase orders and billing accuracy. The manager will also be responsible for the operational management of the hotel's front office computer systems, ensuring smooth reservation processing, and facilitating effective communication using radio systems among hotel staff.

Overall, this role demands a highly organized, proactive individual with excellent leadership, problem-solving, and financial aptitude, who can thrive under high-pressure situations and uphold Avion Hospitality’s service philosophies. The company values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer, promoting a professional and inclusive workplace environment.
