The role of Assistant Front Office Manager at Loews Atlanta Hotel is an exciting leadership position critical to the operation of the guest services team. This role necessitates a dynamic, experienced professional capable of leading and supervising front desk and concierge operations to consistently exceed guest expectations. The Assistant Front Office Manager is responsible for ensuring that the team delivers exceptional customer service, maintains high morale, and adheres to the hotel's service standards.

Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • minimum two years experience in guest services within a hotel environment preferred
  • at least one year in a leadership role related to guest services preferred
  • proficiency with Property Management Systems, preferably Opera
  • knowledge of budget and financial management preferred
  • physical ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
  • minimum two years guest service experience in hotel hospitality preferred
  • minimum one year guest service leadership role preferred
  • experience with Property Management System, preferably Opera
  • knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis in hotel setting preferred
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as necessary

Job Duties

  • manage daily operations of the Front Office Team
  • lead and deliver exceptional guest experience
  • supervise the guest services team to ensure high performance, morale, and compliance with service standards
  • manage payroll services including scheduling, time-card edits, approval of time-off and one-time payment reports
  • monitor, communicate, and respond to guest feedback to enhance service quality and guest loyalty
  • oversee room allocations based on guest preferences and coordinate with housekeeping
  • implement training programs and mentor staff for professional growth
  • serve as primary contact for internal and external inquiries
  • conduct audits and maintain financial records ensuring timely payment processing and financial performance analysis
  • prepare performance reports for management
  • collaborate on initiatives to promote hotel services and operational efficiency
  • handle emergencies ensuring safety of guests and staff
  • perform additional duties as assigned
