Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum three years experience in food and beverage culinary or related professional area
  • Or two year degree from accredited university in relevant field
  • Minimum one year experience in food and beverage culinary or related professional area
  • Ability to supervise daily operations and staff
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial reports
  • Proficiency with department equipment
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with three years of experience in food and beverage culinary or related area
  • Or two year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management Hotel and Restaurant Management Hospitality Business Administration or related major with one year experience in food and beverage culinary or related area
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of brand specific service culture
  • Proficiency in operating department equipment
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service

Job Duties

  • Assist in ordering food and beverage supplies cleaning supplies and uniforms
  • Supervise daily food and beverage shift operations ensuring compliance with all policies standards and procedures
  • Support and supervise a monthly self inspection program
  • Operate and report malfunctions of department equipment
  • Supervise staffing levels to meet guest service operational and financial objectives
  • Encourage and build mutual trust respect and cooperation among team members
  • Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize organize and accomplish work
  • Celebrate and foster decisions that result in successes and failures
  • Communicate areas needing attention to staff and follow up to ensure understanding
  • Coordinate cleaning program in all food and beverage areas identify trends and recommend improvements
  • Follow specific second effort and recovery plan
  • Stay readily available and approachable for all team members
  • Demonstrate knowledge of brand specific service culture
  • Provide exceptional customer service beyond guest expectations
  • Act as a role model demonstrating appropriate behaviors
  • Manage day to day operations ensuring quality standards and customer expectations
  • Take proactive approaches to guest concerns
  • Set positive examples for guest relations
  • Review guest comments and satisfaction results with employees
  • Respond timely to customer service requests
  • Provide information to supervisors and coworkers through various communication methods
  • Analyze information and evaluate results to solve problems
