Job Description

Marriott International is a globally recognized leader in the hospitality industry, known for its commitment to exceptional guest experiences and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. As a multinational company, Marriott operates a wide portfolio of hotels and resorts worldwide, offering unique and memorable travel experiences. Among its prestigious brands is the Autograph Collection, a growing group of four and five-star independent hotels that stand out for their quality, originality, bold character, and distinctive guest experiences. These hotels cater to "The Individualist," a discerning traveler seeking personalized and authentic stays that contribute meaningfully to their personal journey.

The Autograph Collection embodies Marriott’s promise of delivering quality service and showcasing extraordinary properties with distinct personalities. Working within this esteemed collection means being part of a team that values innovation, creativity, and the art of hospitality in its purest form. Marriott International insists on a culture of respect, inclusivity, and professional growth, making it an ideal environment for those passionate about making a difference in the guest experience and their own careers.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Management professional to join our team at the 21 N Juniper St location in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time, management-level position offering competitive hourly pay ranging from $28.35 to $30.29, along with bonus eligibility, recognizing outstanding performance and dedication.

In this role, you will assist in supervising daily food and beverage and culinary operations, playing a pivotal part in ensuring both guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining compliance with operational budgets. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing food and beverage shifts, managing staffing levels, and ensuring adherence to company policies, standards, and legal regulations. You will be a vital link in maintaining the high standards expected by Marriott International and the Autograph Collection brand, constantly striving to enhance the quality and efficiency of our services.

This position demands a hands-on approach to leadership, from assisting with the ordering of supplies to supporting monthly inspection programs and coordinating a thorough cleaning regimen across all food and beverage areas. You will be expected to foster an environment of trust, respect, and collaboration among your team, motivating and guiding employees toward common goals and operational success.

The role also requires a strong focus on customer service excellence. You will embody the Marriott brand service culture, addressing guest concerns proactively, reviewing satisfaction feedback, and setting a positive example for guest relations. Your approach will help to build long-lasting customer loyalty and ensure that every guest interaction reflects the exceptional standards synonymous with Marriott.

Additional duties include maintaining open lines of communication with supervisors, coworkers, and other departments, analyzing operational data to solve problems effectively, and occasionally performing hourly job functions. Financial acumen is beneficial, as understanding budgets, operating statements, and payroll reports is part of ensuring the business operates within its means while achieving its financial goals.

Joining Marriott International means more than just accepting a job — it means beginning a purpose-driven career, belonging to a global team, and becoming the best version of yourself. We are committed to equality and welcome applicants from all walks of life, celebrating the richness that a diverse workforce brings.
