Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years experience in food and beverage, culinary or related professional area
  • Or 2-year degree from accredited university in food service management, hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration or related major
  • Minimum 1 year experience in food and beverage, culinary or related professional area
  • Ability to supervise daily operations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage staffing levels
  • Knowledge of compliance with policies and standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
  • 2-year degree from accredited university in food service management, hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related major
  • 1 year experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to develop goals and prioritize work
  • Knowledge of brand specific service culture
  • Customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • Assists in the ordering of food and beverage supplies, cleaning supplies and uniforms
  • Supervises daily food and beverage shift operation and ensures compliance with all policies, standards and procedures
  • Supports and supervises a monthly self-inspection program
  • Operates department equipment and reports malfunctions
  • Supervises staffing levels to meet guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives
  • Encourages and builds trust, respect and cooperation among team members
  • Coordinates cleaning program in all food and beverage areas, identifying trends and recommending improvements
