They oversee payroll compliance by submitting schedules and documentation on time, support administrative duties such as ordering supplies and managing inventory, and ensure that their team remains current on food and beverage trends. Interaction with guests before, during, and after visits is a crucial element of the role, including responding to online comments and social media inquiries.
In addition to daily operations, the Assistant F&B Manager is responsible for overseeing the banquet department, assisting with event setup and teardown, and supporting the Events Department by working closely with Directors and other hotel departments. The role includes managing short and long-term banquet functions, providing floor support during slower banquet periods, and contributing to banquet beverage services and convention setups. Integrity, positive attitude, and strong communication skills are essential attributes, as is the ability to lead by example and adapt in a dynamic hospitality environment.
This position offers an anticipated annual salary of $72,000 and provides an opportunity for a hospitality professional to grow within a prestigious company known for excellence in guest service and employee development. The Assistant F&B Manager must be highly organized, proactive, results-driven, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting. Familiarity with point of sale systems such as Micros Symphony and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are required, alongside a solid understanding of food and beverage operations and basic knowledge of liquor, wine, and beer products.
