The role of Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at Grand Hyatt SFO is a dynamic leadership position essential to supporting daily Food & Beverage operations. This position involves ensuring consistent product quality, delivering exceptional service, and driving strong financial performance across multiple outlets and events. The Assistant Manager plays a critical role in leading front-of-house teams, aiding in training and developing service standards, and bridging collaboration among Culinary, Stewarding, and other departments for smooth operational flow. Responsibilities include planning shift schedules, maintaining compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and managing guest service recovery to uphold the Hyatt reputation.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of progressive food and beverage experience including supervisory responsibilities
  • strong knowledge of restaurant and bar service standards and guest service recovery
  • ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-volume luxury environment
  • experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic reporting
  • strong communication skills
  • flexible schedule availability including weekends, holidays, and evenings

Job Qualifications
