Job Duties

  • familiarity with style of cuisine and service established for concept
  • familiarity with food service practices and procedures
  • circulate on the outlet floor continually checking with guests and service staff to ensure satisfaction
  • handle guests' complaints and create WOW moments
  • monitor and supervise setup and maintenance of dining room area to meet standards
  • control flow of room by seating guests in rotation
  • assign and supervise all opening and closing side duties
  • make entries into logbook and track guest-related opportunities daily
  • assist with scheduling attendants and control of greeters, servers, and attendants
  • conduct daily pre-meal meetings
  • participate in ongoing training of associates to improve performance
  • recognize outstanding performance and handle discipline per standard procedures
  • complete reports on production, fill out requisitions, and control supply distribution
  • ensure department abides by all safety and sanitation policies
  • perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs
