The Assistant Manager position at Four Seasons St. Louis is a crucial leadership role within the Restaurant and Bar operations. This full-time role involves working closely with the Restaurant General Manager and other Assistant Managers to ensure a seamless and successful operation through superior organization, training, and service quality control. The Assistant Manager is responsible for staff administration, scheduling, and upholding overall guest satisfaction by ensuring every visitor receives an exceptional experience.

Ideal candidates will have a passion for guest service, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to meet Four Seasons' high standards, including mastering the Sequence of Service. Responsibilities also include performing side duties, greeting and seating guests when necessary, taking reservations, and utilizing the Micros Operating System. Flexibility is essential for this role, as it requires working varied shifts including weekends and holidays. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in guest service or hospitality
  • Proficiency with Micros Operating System or similar POS
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to perform additional side work duties
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform to Four Seasons standards including mastering the Sequence of Service
  • Experience in restaurant or hospitality management preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Outgoing personality with a positive approach to guest requests

Job Duties

  • Work closely with the Restaurant General Manager and assistant managers to oversee restaurant and bar operations
  • Lead organization, training, and service quality initiatives
  • Manage scheduling and staff administration
  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction within the restaurant and bar/lounge
  • Perform additional side work as needed
  • Greet and seat guests in the absence of the hostess
  • Take reservations and operate Micros Operating System
