Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree
- Six months to one year of related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and speak English
- Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
- Physical ability to stand frequently, walk, talk, hear
- Occasionally sit, use hands, reach with arms and hands, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Regularly lifts up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather)
- Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions
- Must have food safety and applicable sanitation training
- Must complete alcohol awareness training

Job Duties
- Dedicate over 50 percent of the day to management and supervisory duties
- Regularly walk the dining room floor during meal service to interact with and develop rapport with members and guests
- Supervise inventories of materials and supplies and maintain par levels
- Maintain regular communication with other department leaders to meet operational objectives
- Inspect facility regularly for maintenance, repairs, or clean-up needs
- Ensure all equipment is in proper working order including beverage carts
- Complete reports on production and necessary requisitions and control supply distribution
- Adopt best practices including inventory management software and analytical tools
- Assist with menu design, product pricing, ordering, inventory control, and end of month inventory
- Ensure consistently net sanitation standards
- Coordinate menu planning with Executive Chef
- Develop strong relationships with Troon preferred suppliers and participate in programming recommendations
- Assist in interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates
- Manage a variety of department members including supervisors and service staff
- Assist in orientation and ongoing training programs
- Monitor business volume forecasts and plan manpower, productivity, and costs accordingly
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
- Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
