Job Requirements
- Experience in full service food and beverage environment
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations
- Understanding of liquor, wine, and beer products
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Micros Symphony POS
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Physical ability to perform job duties including standing and walking for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a full service, fine dining restaurant with a passion for delivering unforgettable experiences
- Solid understanding of food and beverage operations
- General understanding of liquor, wine, and beer products with certifications being a plus
- General knowledge of food product and cooking techniques
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Micros Symphony POS system
- Skillful in project planning and able to prioritize tasks
- Highly organized, efficient, proactive, results driven, and adaptable
- Excellent communication skills and team motivation abilities
- Business-like, socially engaged, passionate, expressive, and positive attitude
Job Duties
- Adhere to Hyatt Hotels Corporation guidelines and core values to ensure the health, safety and comfort of colleagues and guests
- Floor management including guiding and coaching staff, solving guest complaints, and ensuring excellent service
- Provide ongoing training to hourly staff members
- Accurately complete payroll tasks including finalizing schedules, reviewing time edits, and submitting payroll documentation
- Assist with administrative duties such as placing orders, paying invoices, organizing stockrooms, and scheduling staff
- Stay updated on food and beverage offerings as well as local and national trends
- Interact with guests before, during, and after their visit including responding to online comments and social media
- Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
