Job Description
Landscapes Golf Management (LGM) and Elmwood Golf Course are proud to present an exciting career opportunity for an energetic and experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager. Elmwood Golf Course is a distinguished premier golf destination known for its beautiful 27-hole championship course. Located in the heart of the community, Elmwood is currently unveiling a state-of-the-art clubhouse designed to significantly enhance the hospitality experience. This new facility will host a modern bar and grill, expansive event space suitable for hosting various social occasions, as well as a stunning covered patio that offers breathtaking views of the golf course. With the addition of a full-scale kitchen, the clubhouse is set to become a leading hospitality venue that consistently delivers exceptional dining and service experiences to members and guests.
As the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Food and Beverage Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of the department. This position offers a unique chance to contribute to and shape the overall dining and hospitality atmosphere at Elmwood Golf Course. You will work directly with a dedicated team to ensure smooth operations, high-quality service, and assistance in event management. Your involvement will range from staff coaching and scheduling to financial oversight and customer engagement, establishing you as a key player in the delivery of outstanding experiences to every guest who visits.
Joining LGM means becoming part of a company that embodies a strong set of core values that guide daily operations, including Doing the Right Thing, Taking Care of Each Other, Finding a Way, Leading, and Being the Best. These values foster a supportive and professional work environment aimed at driving excellence in the golf and hospitality industry. This role is a fantastic opportunity for candidates passionate about food service, leadership, and customer satisfaction. You will help cultivate a culture that prioritizes exceptional service, teamwork, and continual improvement within an exciting, fast-paced setting.
The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will also be tasked with upholding health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with liquor laws, maintaining departmental financial accuracy, and supervising staff during large non-golf events. This diverse range of responsibilities requires adaptability, strong communication skills, and a commitment to quality and guest satisfaction. Your leadership will ensure a seamless experience from kitchen to customer, elevating the clubhouse dining and event offerings to new heights.
At Elmwood Golf Course and LGM, professional growth and active participation in staff meetings and strategic discussions are encouraged.
