Job Description

The Omni Royal Orleans Hotel is a renowned luxury hotel located in the heart of New Orleans' historic French Quarter, precisely at the intersection of St. Louis and Royal streets. Distinguished by its elegant architectural design, the hotel has proudly maintained a four-diamond luxury award for over three decades and has also earned the prestigious Pinnacle Award for meeting services. Recently, the property underwent a comprehensive renovation that artfully blends modern conveniences with classic aesthetics. This included redesigning guest rooms—highlighted by iconic wrought iron balconies—and revitalizing public spaces that draw inspiration from the vibrant culture of New Orleans through thoughtfully chosen color schemes and captivating artwork.

Catering to both leisure and business travelers, Omni Royal Orleans offers an exceptional guest experience supported by a dedicated team of associates who thrive in a dynamic and motivating work environment. The hotel emphasizes a culture of respect, gratitude, and empowerment, providing comprehensive training programs and mentoring to ensure staff members can deliver exceptional service consistently. The establishment values friendly, motivated individuals with a passion for hospitality and a genuine desire to serve guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere that aligns with the hotel’s reputation for excellence.

The role of Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at Omni Royal Orleans Hotel is pivotal in upholding the high standards of the hotel’s food and beverage operations, especially at the pool outlet. This full-time position encompasses the daily leadership and supervision of all pool outlet personnel, ensuring their performance meets Omni’s stringent food and beverage standards and complies with company policies. The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager oversees all aspects of pool operations, which includes managing the restaurant, food and beverage service, and recreational activities offered at the poolside.

This role demands an individual who can ensure exceptional guest experiences are consistently delivered, maintaining quality in food, beverages, service, and ambiance. The Assistant Manager is responsible for coordinating staff schedules, overseeing inventory and ordering processes, handling guest feedback and complaints with professionalism, and enforcing compliance with liquor liability laws and safety protocols. A component of the position involves active presence during peak hours on the floor to supervise service, fostering continuous training and development of staff, and contributing to the overall operational efficiency through tasks such as payroll forecasting and interviewing prospective employees.

Candidates interested in this role can expect to work in a lively, culturally rich environment where attention to detail, customer service excellence, and leadership skills are highly valued. The Omni Royal Orleans Hotel is committed to Equal Employment Opportunity and encourages applications from all qualified individuals. Employees benefit from working within a company that prioritizes respect and inclusion, offers career growth potential, and supports its workforce with robust training.
