Wave Resort is currently seeking passionate and skilled individuals to join its team as an OEM Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. This full-time position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 52,000 to USD 62,000. The role demands a dedicated and dynamic leader who is passionate about hospitality and excels in managing food and beverage operations within a hotel or resort setting. As an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily management of the restaurant to ensure operational excellence and superior guest experiences. This includes supervising staff, overseeing scheduling and payroll, managing inventory, and implementing quality control measures. You will also play a critical role in fostering a positive team environment, resolving conflicts, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Utilizing your knowledge of POS systems such as TOAST, and certifications like Serve Safe and TIPS, you will help maintain seamless operations and drive customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, and communicates effectively with both customers and team members. Additionally, you must be able to work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends, and obtain a Long Branch Bar Card shortly after hire. Job Requirements
- must obtain Long Branch Bar Card within 10 days of hire
- 2-3 years prior supervisory or management experience
- ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- excellent problem solving skills
- strong associate relations and conflict resolution skills
- prior cash handling experience
- experience with scheduling, payroll and labor management
- experience with TOAST POS system
- prior Serve Safe certification preferred
- TIPS or CARE certification
- able to work AM and PM shifts and weekends
- CPR certification preferred
Job Qualifications
