Job Description
The Ritz-Carlton Dallas is a prestigious luxury hotel located in the heart of Dallas, Texas, offering exceptional hospitality experiences through its award-winning properties. Known globally for unparalleled service, comfort, and elegant ambiance, this iconic hotel operates under the Marriott International portfolio, which is renowned worldwide for embracing diverse cultures and fostering professional growth. At the Ritz-Carlton, every team member is empowered to deliver extraordinary service, guided by the hotel's Gold Standards, which include the Employee Promise, Credo, and Service Values. These principles form the foundation of the hotel's operation and are integral to maintaining its reputation as a leader in luxury hospitality across the globe.
The role available at The Ritz-Carlton Dallas focuses on management within their food and beverage division, especially overseeing restaurant and bar operations, as well as room service, when applicable. This full-time management position offers an annual salary range of $66,000 to $88,000 and comes with eligibility for bonuses, reflecting the company’s commitment to rewarding excellence. The role requires a proactive leader who assists in the daily supervision of fine dining operations, supports menu planning, maintains top-tier sanitation standards, and actively participates in floor operations during peak service hours. The position demands a dedication to continuous improvement in both guest and employee satisfaction and involves strategizing and implementing employee training programs to meet organizational goals.
Responsibilities for this role encompass managing the restaurant team by handling employee inquiries, monitoring performance, delivering constructive feedback, and ensuring the smooth functioning of daily shift operations. The successful candidate will be expected to supervise the restaurant and related areas in the absence of higher management, participate in departmental meetings to communicate goals, and oversee supply, equipment, and uniform availability. Equally important is managing compliance with restaurant policies, standards, and local laws, including alcohol beverage service regulations, while driving to meet or exceed financial goals.
Customer service excellence is central to this role, requiring direct interaction with guests to gather feedback on food quality and service, supervising appropriate staffing levels, resolving complaints, and fostering a workplace culture that encourages outstanding guest service. The candidate will also take part in human resource activities, such as supervising ongoing training, using available training tools, setting clear performance expectations, and coaching employees regularly.
Additional tasks include effective communication with team members and management, problem-solving to choose optimal solutions, assisting servers and hosts during busy periods, and maintaining high standards of product quality and presentation. The position is designed for someone who exemplifies professionalism and dedication in luxury hospitality, contributing to the hotel’s mission of creating memorable experiences that linger with guests long after their stay.
Joining The Ritz-Carlton Dallas means becoming part of a dynamic and diverse global team where creativity, thoughtfulness, and compassion are highly valued. Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion, ensuring that all associates feel welcomed and have access to opportunities for growth. This role offers the chance to work in a prestigious setting, develop hospitality management skills, and contribute to a brand celebrated for excellence and refined guest service.
