The role of Assistant Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager at Rosewood Miramar Beach is a full-time permanent position offering a competitive salary range of $72,000 to $74,000, plus eligibility for bonuses. Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Manager, the Assistant F&B Manager plays a crucial role in managing all aspects of the food and beverage outlet functions, ensuring impeccable service delivery in line with the hotel standards. This position requires a multifaceted professional capable of leading and motivating a diverse team of food and beverage associates to uphold the brand's high service standards consistently.
Key responsibilities include maintaining superior guest satisfaction by delivering exceptional dining experiences, enforcing service procedures, scheduling and payroll management, and ensuring compliance with all departmental policies, state liquor laws, and health regulations. The Assistant F&B Manager also oversees recruitment, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions for the team. A deep knowledge of the menu, beverage selections, service equipment, daily specials, guest service protocols, and financial reporting is essential for success in this role. Job Qualifications
- Diploma/Some college or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
- must have a current and valid ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification
- must have a current and valid Responsible Beverage Service Certification and Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Server ID
- minimum three years’ experience as a Restaurant Assistant Manager
- hotel operational exposure (i.e. F&B) preferred
- experience with a luxury or ultra-luxury property or brand preferred
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional service and ensure guest satisfaction with dining experiences
- assist in management of a team of food and beverage professionals ensuring brand standards and required sequence of service components are executed with precision
- maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards
- assist in management of all Outlet’s associates
- assist in interview, hire, train, performance manage and termination of F&B associates
- schedule associates and prepare payroll documents to ensure associates are properly compensated
- ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level on a daily basis
- manage guest relations and ensure guest satisfaction
