Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Two years of relevant experience preferably in housekeeping or environmental services
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a luxury resort environment preferred
- Experience leading union team members and knowledge of collective bargaining agreements preferred
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Two years of prior relevant experience preferably in housekeeping or environmental services
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a luxury resort environment preferred
- Experience leading union team members and working within a collective bargaining environment preferred
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Bilingual highly preferred
- Ability to work various shifts including weekends and all holidays
Job Duties
- Respond to guest concerns in a professional and timely manner ensuring positive resolution
- Manage departmental performance budgets staffing levels and accountability processes to meet short and long term business objectives
- Lead all housekeeping human resources functions including hiring training coaching recognition performance management discipline succession planning and compliance with company policies legal requirements and collective bargaining agreements
- Mentor coach and develop housekeeping floor managers to support performance and advancement opportunities
- Conduct daily room inspections to ensure housekeeping floor managers and guest room attendants meet quality assurance and sanitation standards
- Partner with scheduling attendants to ensure bidding processes are completed in accordance with policies procedures and timelines
- Represent management in unemployment hearings union grievances arbitrations and other meetings as needed
