Job Requirements

  • Possess identification authorization to work in the United States
  • Minimum 2 years of progressive hotel rooms management experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to supervise and mentor multicultural and multilingual teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, and motivational leadership
  • Clear and concise communication skills in English
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive hotel rooms management experience, preferably with Hyatt
  • Service oriented style with professional presentation skills
  • Hotel or hospitality degree is an asset
  • High energy and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Motivational leader with effective communication skills
  • Skilled in exceptional customer service and improving the bottom line
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills

Job Duties

  • Assist in short and long term planning and management of housekeeping operations
  • Understand housekeeping and laundry supplies and pars
  • Teach employees how to greet guests and solve guest requests courteously
  • Maintain inspection program consistently
  • Ensure all safety and security policies and procedures are followed
  • Collaborate closely with all other departments
  • Inspect some guest rooms daily
  • Purchase linens and housekeeping supplies
  • Stay current with latest housekeeping and laundry technologies
  • Work with vendors to assure proper pricing, delivery, and maintenance
  • Teach, supervise, and mentor multilingual and multicultural staff
  • Ensure OSHA and ADA policies adherence
  • Support turndown service and special needs of VIP guests
  • Maintain proper staffing levels
  • Coach and counsel employees reflecting Hyatt service standards and procedures
