This position is for an Assistant Executive Housekeeper under general supervision who will support the Executive Housekeeper by assisting with various housekeeping and laundry operations within the hotel. The role focuses on maintaining exceptional service levels and high-quality standards across guest rooms, laundry facilities, public spaces, meeting areas, storage, and employee work zones. The Assistant Executive Housekeeper will play a critical role in ensuring that all housekeeping services meet or exceed Drury Hotels' stringent quality and cleanliness expectations. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in housekeeping or hotel laundry services preferred
  • ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment
  • must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • strong team-oriented attitude
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • thorough knowledge of guest room cleaning methods
  • experience with laundry services
  • understanding of cleaning chemical use and storage
  • familiarity with cleaning equipment operation including vacuums and commercial washers and dryers
  • ability to lead a housekeeping team
  • strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • assist the Executive Housekeeper with housekeeping and laundry functions
  • maintain exceptional service levels through guest and team member satisfaction
  • ensure high quality standards in guest rooms, laundry, public areas, meeting spaces, and work areas
  • oversee proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals
  • operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and commercial washers and dryers
  • lead the Housekeeping team to achieve cleanliness and Drury standards
  • uphold integrity, service, and hospitality with guests and coworkers
