The responsibilities of this role include maintaining exceptional service levels throughout guest rooms, public spaces, laundry, meeting areas, and all departmental work and storage spaces. The employee will help ensure that cleanliness and quality standards meet or exceed Drury quality expectations consistently. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping or related field preferred
- ability to follow safety and chemical handling protocols
- capability to manage housekeeping operations under general supervision
- good communication and teamwork skills
- willingness to work flexible schedules
Job Qualifications
- knowledge of cleaning methods for guest rooms and laundry
- understanding of cleaning chemical use and storage
- ability to operate vacuum cleaners and commercial washers and dryers
- leadership skills to guide the Housekeeping team
- commitment to high service standards
- experience in hospitality or housekeeping preferred
Job Duties
- assist the Executive Housekeeper with housekeeping and laundry functions
- maintain exceptional service levels through guest and team member satisfaction
- ensure high quality and cleanliness standards in guest rooms, laundry, public areas, meeting spaces, storage and work areas
- lead and support the Housekeeping team to achieve Drury standards
- manage proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals
- operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and commercial washers and dryers
- maintain integrity, service, and hospitality with team members and guests
