The Full-time Assistant Executive Director position at Dial plays a crucial role in supporting the Executive Director in the supervision and management of all community operations, following established policies, procedures, and compliance with State, Federal, and Department of Social Services Licensing (DSL) guidelines. This role requires someone with strong leadership skills who can work collaboratively with the Executive Director to oversee team members, manage financial operations, ensure high-quality care, and maintain resident satisfaction. The Assistant Executive Director assists in administration tasks such as budgeting, payroll, and human resources, making sure that programs and services are delivered efficiently and within budget.
This role also involves direct oversight of daily operations, providing support to various departments, and maintaining open communication with residents, families, staff, and external organizations. The Assistant Executive Director is responsible for emergency management, team member support, recruitment, staff training, and employee recognition programs. They also participate in marketing initiatives to promote the community and attract prospective residents. Job Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in management and supervision
- Promote teamwork in providing services to residents
- Knowledge of Fair Housing Law
- Knowledge of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- Knowledge of various employment and labor laws including Family and Medical Leave Act, Minimum Wage, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), and Employee Polygraph Protection Act
- Intermediate or advanced knowledge of or willingness and ability to learn the computer programs used in this community
- Knowledge of State and Federal regulations pertaining to Assisted Living

Job Duties
- Provide support needed to ensure the smooth operation of each department, managing daily operations within established policies and procedures
- Directly responsible for all administrative tasks, including financial, payroll and HR tasks and team members
- Maintain and upgrade knowledge and implementation of standards and requirements specified by federal and state laws
- Work with the ED and leadership team to develop the annual budget, and work with team leaders to operate programs and community within budget
- Monitor cash flow and account balance, prepare and/or review all monthly financials and invoices, and oversee all financials within parameters established by Executive Director and DSL
- Ensure collection of all rent and service fees by designated date and ensure deposit in bank, as specified by supervisor
- Oversee the maintenance of financial records, including petty cash, accounts receivable and payables, spend-downs, and other financial documents as requested by DSL team
