Their events team is critical in achieving this vision, showing up prepared, standing out in their efforts, and executing plans with precision to deliver exceptional outcomes for all stakeholders involved.
At Wedgwood Companies, the role of Assistant Events Coordinator is more than just a position; it is an opportunity to make a significant impact within the team and the wider community. The Assistant Events Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the full event lifecycle, from the initial research phase to the final confirmation and follow-up. This full-time role, based in Meridian and offering a competitive hourly wage of $30 plus performance bonuses, calls for an individual who is organized, driven, and ready to contribute actively rather than simply fulfill tasks.
The Assistant Events Coordinator will be responsible for identifying high-quality events that align with the company’s goals and objectives. This involves thorough research and outreach to event organizers to capitalize on valuable opportunities. Managing the booking process end-to-end requires strong multitasking skills and attention to detail, coordinating applications, confirmations, and essential communications internally and externally. This role also involves maintaining comprehensive calendars and documentation to ensure all details are tracked accurately and accessible.
Negotiations are a key part of the role, requiring the ability to secure favorable pricing, sponsorships, and booth placements for the company at various events. Financial tracking, including payments and reporting, is also necessary to support business operations and ensure transparency and accountability.
Candidates must demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. The company values relationship-building capabilities and adaptability, critical for thriving in a dynamic events environment. This position offers the chance to join a motivated team where individuals are esteemed and rewarded for their contributions through uncapped performance bonuses and bi-monthly pay.
This exciting opportunity at Wedgwood Companies is perfect for professionals with over two years of experience in event coordination, marketing, or related fields, who hold at least an associate’s degree or equivalent. It offers a platform for career growth and development in a supportive, high-performing workplace dedicated to creating unparalleled event experiences.
