The Assistant Event Services Manager plays a crucial role within the resort’s banquet and events department. This position is responsible for coordinating and managing banquet events to ensure flawless execution and create memorable experiences for guests. The Assistant Event Services Manager oversees all aspects of event room setups, including the arrangement of banquet spaces and equipment to meet specific event requirements. In addition, this role involves supervising and mentoring banquet team members, steering them towards departmental excellence and personal development. A vital component of the role is also the management of labor controls and expense monitoring to contribute to the financial success of the department. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in food and beverage or banquet management
  • Experience in hotel or convention industry
  • Ability to stand for long periods and walk moderate distances
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weights
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Proficient in basic computer skills

  • Experience in hotel or convention industry
