The company manages multiple luxury resort destinations across the United States, including Wisconsin Dells, WI; Sandusky, OH; Pocono Manor, PA; Round Rock, TX; and Spotsylvania County, VA. Each resort offers world-class dining, lavish spas, vibrant entertainment options, and state-of-the-art convention facilities designed to cater to both leisure guests and corporate clients. As a family-owned business, Kalahari Resorts prides itself on its core value of "Lead with Love," emphasizing deep care for guests, associates, and the community, cultivating an environment where everyone feels valued and respected. This commitment extends beyond hospitality through philanthropy, notably partnering with charity: water to provide clean water access to millions in Africa.

The position of Assistant Director of Sales is a key leadership role within Kalahari Resorts & Conventions. This role supports the Director of Sales by overseeing sales activities and driving the performance of the sales team to meet and surpass ambitious revenue targets. The Assistant Director will focus on developing and managing relationships across group, event, and corporate markets, ensuring consistent growth in bookings and client satisfaction. The responsibilities include mentoring sales staff, strategizing sales efforts, maintaining CRM accuracy, analyzing sales metrics, and collaborating cross-functionally with operations, catering, and convention services to ensure seamless guest experiences throughout event execution.

This individual is expected to demonstrate exceptional sales acumen, including success in business development and account management for large-scale events such as conventions, weddings, retreats, and corporate meetings. The role demands excellent communication skills to effectively present and negotiate solutions tailored to client needs, ensuring that objections are overcome and sales objectives are consistently achieved.

Kalahari Resorts offers a comprehensive benefits package that supports career advancement and overall well-being. The company encourages professional growth from within and provides robust health, dental, and vision coverage, alongside financial benefits such as 401(k) matching. Employees enjoy paid time off, holiday pay, educational assistance programs, and employee appreciation events with resort discounts and perks. The company’s award-winning workplace culture is recognized by Forbes and USA TODAY, confirming its status as an outstanding employer devoted to innovation, inclusion, and meaningful career opportunities.
