This position is for a full-time Engineering Manager located at 2700 N Ocean Dr, Riviera Beach, Florida, within the Engineering & Facilities department. The role involves assisting the department head in managing the engineering and maintenance operations of the property. Key responsibilities include managing budgets, capital expenditures, preventative maintenance programs, and energy conservation initiatives. Candidates will be accountable for maintaining the building and grounds with a strong focus on safety, security, and asset protection. The Engineering Manager supervises the day-to-day operations, including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical systems, and life safety equipment. This role also involves overseeing staff and contractor assignments, ensuring excellent communication and training to enhance guest and employee satisfaction.
The Engineering Manager supports the department by establishing maintenance priorities, managing repairs and renovations, handling equipment and supply inventories, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. The role is pivotal in maintaining the physical plant at optimal effectiveness and efficiency while minimizing downtime and maximizing resources. The successful candidate will serve as a technical liaison among departments and assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Director of Engineering. This position is bonus eligible, with an annual pay range of $79,000 to $108,000. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in engineering and maintenance or related professional area
- Technical training in HVAC-R, electrical, or plumbing
- OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major
- 2 years experience in engineering and maintenance or related professional area
- Ability to work full time
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to supervise staff and contractors
- Knowledge of safety and compliance standards
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
