Recognized repeatedly on the World’s Best Workplaces list by Great Place to Work and Fortune, Hilton is not only dedicated to providing memorable stays for its guests but also fosters an enriching, supportive environment for its team members.
The Assistant Director of Catering role at Hilton is pivotal in shaping the catering operations of the hotel, ensuring that every guest event is executed flawlessly and leaves a lasting impression. This leadership position involves supporting the strategic initiatives that drive innovative catering strategies while continuously refining operational processes to deliver high-quality, best-in-class experiences. In addition, the Assistant Director of Catering plays a key role as a catering subject matter expert, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices and representing Hilton in professional associations. Beyond operational leadership, this role supports sales efforts by assisting in client site inspections and ensuring catering solutions align with Hilton’s brand standards, which contributes directly to business growth. Financial oversight is also integral to the position, involving budget monitoring, forecasting, and cost reporting to optimize staffing, space usage, and resource allocation. At the heart of this role is a commitment to Hilton’s company culture—championing a collaborative, guest-and team member-centric environment. The Assistant Director of Catering is responsible for nurturing talent by supporting career growth initiatives and mentoring team members, creating an open, productive, and engaging workplace.
