With a history spanning over a century, Hilton has established itself as a trusted name in the hotel industry by embracing innovation, guest satisfaction, and community engagement. The company operates thousands of properties across the globe, serving more than 3 billion guests, and remains dedicated to filling the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality. Known for its award-winning workplace culture and continuous commitment to excellence, Hilton invests heavily in the development and wellbeing of its team members, promoting values such as integrity, leadership, teamwork, accountability, and urgency. These core values guide every interaction both with guests and colleagues, fostering a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and personal fulfillment.
The role of Assistant Director of Catering at Hilton is a pivotal leadership position within the catering function of the hotel. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about delivering memorable experiences and elevating the standards of hospitality through expert management of catering services. As an Assistant Director of Catering, you will assist in implementing strategic initiatives that drive innovative catering approaches and continually refine processes to ensure optimal service quality. You will provide hands-on leadership to the catering team, engaging consistently and effectively with internal stakeholders, guests, suppliers, and team members to maintain high standards and excellent communication. Serving as a subject matter expert in catering operations, you will stay current with the latest industry trends and best practices, representing Hilton in relevant professional associations.
Key responsibilities also include supporting sales efforts by participating in client site inspections and helping align catering solutions with Hilton's brand standards. Financial stewardship is another important aspect of the role, involving the assistance with budgeting, forecasting, and cost management to maximize operational efficiency and resource allocation. Hilton values its company culture and the Assistant Director of Catering is expected to champion a collaborative and high-performing workplace by embodying Hilton’s values, fostering a guest- and team member-centric environment, and mentoring staff to support career growth and resolve workplace conflicts. This leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced setting, embraces accountability, and is motivated by the opportunity to make a lasting impact on both guests and the team.
Hilton is proud to offer exceptional benefits for this role, including incredible travel perks such as discounted room rates, an employee stock purchase program to help build financial security, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health and wellness programs. The company is committed to supporting the mental health and personal needs of its employees through counseling services and specialized concierge support during life challenges. Hilton also offers generous paid time off and retirement plans, reflecting their dedication to fostering a balanced and rewarding career environment. Joining Hilton means becoming part of a global leader that not only delivers best-in-class guest experiences but also cultivates a supportive and award-winning workplace culture recognized by Great Place to Work and Fortune. In this role, you have the opportunity to contribute to and grow within one of the most prestigious names in hospitality, making every guest stay—and every team member’s career—truly exceptional.
