Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum three years of management experience preferred
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification or eligibility
  • ServSafe certification required
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Strong leadership and team motivation skills
  • Good organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal dining regulations
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Adequate vision and hearing with or without prosthetics

Job Qualifications

  • Three years of management experience preferred

  • ServSafe certified
  • Strong customer service and hospitality orientation
  • Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams

Job Duties

  • Ensures a positive and enjoyable dining experience for residents, guests, and associates
  • Oversees dining service standards to ensure they consistently exceed expectations
  • Handles resident concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues when needed
  • Supervises, trains, and schedules staff for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service
  • Assists with recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance reviews
  • Serves as acting Dining Services Manager in their absence
  • Acts as the primary contact for Tower Club events, ensuring smooth execution and hospitality excellence
  • Collaborates with the Retail and Events Manager to review event details, staffing assignments, and service expectations
  • Coordinates event setup, staff responsibilities, and post-event breakdowns
  • Ensures events align with resident satisfaction standards and company procedures
  • Evaluates and ensures food quality and presentation standards are consistently met
  • Arranges equipment maintenance and repairs as needed
  • Maintains a safe and sanitary environment for staff and residents
  • Adheres to all safety, health, and sanitation requirements
  • Attends required daily, weekly, and monthly department meetings
  • Participates in departmental education and in-service trainings
  • Maintains confidentiality of resident, family, and facility information
  • Collaborates with other departments to support campus-wide operations
