We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Assistant Dining Services Manager to join our team and contribute to the success of our dining program. In this role, you will be integral in delivering exceptional dining experiences by supporting smooth daily operations and fostering a culture of hospitality. This position involves managing dining staff, maintaining high standards for food quality and presentation, and leading the dining services during everyday functions and special events. The Assistant Dining Services Manager works closely with the Assistant Director of Dining Services and collaborates with other team members, especially in coordinating Tower Club events alongside the Retail and Events Manager. This role requires a dynamic leader who is committed to excellence in service, food safety, staff supervision, and resident satisfaction. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum three years of management experience preferred
Valid CPR and First Aid certification or eligibility
ServSafe certification required
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Strong leadership and team motivation skills
Good organizational and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of local, state, and federal dining regulations
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds
Adequate vision and hearing with or without prosthetics

Job Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Three years of management experience preferred
CPR and First Aid certification or eligibility
ServSafe certified
Strong customer service and hospitality orientation
Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of local, state, and federal dining regulations
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties

Ensures a positive and enjoyable dining experience for residents, guests, and associates
Oversees dining service standards to ensure they consistently exceed expectations
Handles resident concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues when needed
Supervises, trains, and schedules staff for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service
Assists with recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance reviews
Serves as acting Dining Services Manager in their absence
Acts as the primary contact for Tower Club events, ensuring smooth execution and hospitality excellence
Collaborates with the Retail and Events Manager to review event details, staffing assignments, and service expectations
Coordinates event setup, staff responsibilities, and post-event breakdowns
Ensures events align with resident satisfaction standards and company procedures
Evaluates and ensures food quality and presentation standards are consistently met
Arranges equipment maintenance and repairs as needed
Maintains a safe and sanitary environment for staff and residents
Adheres to all safety, health, and sanitation requirements
Attends required daily, weekly, and monthly department meetings
Participates in departmental education and in-service trainings
Maintains confidentiality of resident, family, and facility information
Collaborates with other departments to support campus-wide operations
