The Assistant Deli Manager plays a critical role within the Deli Department and reports directly to the Deli Manager. This full-time, hourly position involves working 8 to 10 hour shifts with potential overtime. The role's primary responsibility is to ensure all deli products are stocked, fresh, and maintained according to strict company and HACCP guidelines, creating an inviting shopping environment while fostering strong customer relationships. This role also entails supervising deli operations, assisting with product presentation, inventory management, and managing a team effectively to meet sales goals while minimizing product waste.

As an Assistant Deli Manager, you will demonstrate leadership qualities by supporting the deli team, facilitating staff training, scheduling, and hiring processes. The position requires a hands-on approach, operating equipment safely under OSHA regulations and maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards.
