The role of Assistant Cook on this cruise ship is vital to the culinary operations in the galley kitchen. Positioned under the supervision of the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, 1st Cook, and 2nd Cook, the Assistant Cook will play a key support role by assisting in the preparation and cooking of a variety of meals for both passengers and crew. This includes participating in different cooking techniques such as chopping, dicing, grilling, sautéing, frying, and baking, ensuring that meals are prepared according to established recipes and portion sizes for consistency and quality.

Beyond cooking duties, the Assistant Cook contributes significantly to food production support by collaborating with the culinary team to meet production targets and maintain smooth kitchen workflows.
