With a strong commitment to innovation and excellence, Delaware North continues to set industry standards, employing thousands of professionals who are passionate about hospitality and dedicated to delivering memorable moments to guests. The company’s culture emphasizes growth, development, and respect for every team member, fostering a work environment where diverse talents and ideas thrive.
Delaware North’s operations in Boston are centered around one of the city’s most renowned landmarks, TD Garden, which has been under its ownership and management since 1975. TD Garden is New England’s largest sports and entertainment arena, home to both the NHL’s Boston Bruins and the NBA’s Boston Celtics. Hosting over 200 events annually and welcoming more than 3.5 million visitors, TD Garden is a bustling hub of excitement and entertainment. Delaware North extends its expertise in hospitality to ensure that all guests enjoy an unparalleled experience, encompassing food service, concessions, retail, and event operations.
The role of Assistant Concessions Manager at TD Garden offers a dynamic leadership opportunity within this vibrant environment. The position is full-time and comes with a competitive annual salary ranging from $47,500 to $64,100, complemented by a performance-based annual bonus plan or an uncapped sales incentive plan designed to reward outstanding contributions. The Assistant Concessions Manager is responsible for partnering with senior leadership to oversee the concessions operations, ensuring that every aspect runs smoothly and efficiently. This role is ideal for motivated professionals who are passionate about enhancing guest experiences and creating a positive, productive work environment for their teams.
In this capacity, the Assistant Concessions Manager will lead by example, supervising team members and supervisors to ensure high standards of service and operational excellence. The individual will coordinate scheduling, hiring, and training, with a focus on maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements including alcohol service, sanitation, and payroll laws. Additionally, the role involves detailed oversight of inventory management, sales reporting, and equipment maintenance to sustain smooth and profitable concessions operations.
This position demands a strong leader with experience in the food service industry, particularly in concessions or similar fast-paced environments. Candidates should possess keen analytical skills to interpret sales data and operational reports, using insights to drive improvements in efficiency and guest satisfaction. Creativity, innovation, and initiative are encouraged to develop new strategies that elevate the guest experience and optimize operational workflows. As part of Delaware North’s commitment to its employees, the Assistant Concessions Manager will benefit from professional development opportunities, competitive benefits, and a supportive culture that values teamwork and leadership. This role is a significant step for those looking to advance their careers within a globally recognized hospitality company dedicated to excellence and team member success.
