Currently, Delaware North Sportservice is seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Concessions Manager to join their team at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. This role is integral to the successful management and operation of concessions within the arena, which hosts the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and accommodates 19,200 guests. As an Assistant Concessions Manager, you will partner closely with the Concessions Manager to lead the concessions team, ensuring every event runs smoothly and guests enjoy outstanding service. Your leadership will contribute to a collaborative and efficient work environment that supports both team members and non-profit organization groups involved in operational activities.
The position offers a competitive base salary starting at $62,354 annually, supplemented by an uncapped sales incentive plan or an annual bonus based on individual, company, and location performance. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of supervisory experience in food service, preferably within concessions, along with knowledge of food and beverage service standards, health regulations, and safety procedures. Certifications such as ServSafe or Food Safety Handler are highly valued and may be required.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience in the food service industry
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Ability to obtain ServSafe, Food Safety Handler, and Training for Intervention Procedures certifications
- Proficient computer skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, and point of sale systems

Job Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations of all concessions locations under the guidance of the Concessions Manager
- Assist with coordinating team members and non-profit organization groups to ensure effective collaboration and operational efficiency
- Contribute to hiring and training new team members on company objectives, policies, and procedures to drive team performance and deliver exceptional guest service
- Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and local regulations governing alcohol, food service, sanitation, payroll, financial protocols, and employment practices
- Oversee cash handling and financial reporting, reconcile discrepancies, and support inventory management
