Job Requirements

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and some holidays
  • valid driver’s license
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of one year of residential leasing, sales, or property management experience
  • minimum of one year of LIHTC experience
  • strong math and accounting skills
  • proficiency with Yardi software and Microsoft Office suite
  • knowledge of federal, state, and local fair housing laws

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of residential leasing, sales, and/or property management experience
  • minimum of one year of LIHTC experience
  • experience in leadership and supervising a staff preferred
  • experience using Yardi or other property management accounting software
  • strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • strong math and accounting skills
  • understanding of financial statements including budget and financial reports
  • strong understanding of federal, state, and local fair housing laws and provisions
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation preferred
  • knowledge of Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC)
  • knowledge of IRS 8823 guide and HUD 4350.3 manual
  • Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) or Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO) designation preferred if HUD property

Job Duties

  • Collect and post rent
  • process invoices
  • prepare monthly financial reports
  • complete bank deposits and account reconciliations
  • use Yardi software to manage property financials
  • verify income and monitor rent limits for LIHTC and HUD programs
  • prepare for inspections and maintain housing authority relationships
  • lease apartments and respond to resident inquiries promptly
  • promote resident satisfaction and retention
  • mentor leasing team members
  • support the Community Manager in daily operations
