Job Description

Morgan Properties is a nationally recognized real estate investment and management company, established in 1985 by Mitchell Morgan. Headquartered in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, Morgan Properties has grown to become one of the largest multifamily owners in the United States. With a portfolio consisting of more than 400 apartment communities and over 110,000 units spread across 22 states, the company holds the distinction of being the largest multifamily owner in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New York. Under the leadership of the next generation, Jonathan and Jason Morgan, the company continues to expand its footprint while maintaining its commitment to delivering exceptional property management and investment performance. Morgan Properties employs over 2,600 staff members who benefit from a supportive work environment characterized by quick decision-making, strong capital relationships, and proven operational expertise.

The Assistant Community Manager role at Morgan Properties is a dynamic, customer-facing position that plays a vital role in creating outstanding resident experiences and maintaining efficient community operations. This role requires an individual who excels at customer service, is organized, and is able to juggle multiple responsibilities with a positive attitude. The Assistant Community Manager often supports multiple property sites, ensuring that each community thrives and that residents feel valued and heard.

This role offers excellent pay ranging from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour and includes a host of exclusive benefits such as a 20% apartment rental discount, quarterly cash rewards through the Morgan Essentials program, renewal commissions, and tuition reimbursement. The comprehensive benefits package also provides medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and AD&D insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching, and generous paid time off including holidays and sick leave.

Responsibilities in this position span across resident engagement, community operations, and administrative support. The Assistant Community Manager serves as the welcoming face to residents and visitors, providing empathetic and professional service. From responding to resident inquiries and concerns to conducting community tours and supporting move-in and move-out processes, this role is critical to fostering a positive community atmosphere.

On the operational side, the Assistant Community Manager inspects homes before move-ins to ensure quality standards, monitors maintenance and curb appeal issues, assists in planning and executing resident events, and ensures safety protocols and community policies are adhered to. The administrative duties involve maintaining accurate resident records, preparing community reports, and supporting daily administrative tasks as needed.

Ideal candidates bring at least two years of experience in customer service or a related field, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to problem-solve and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must also hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel between community sites if required.

Morgan Properties values team members who are proactive, resourceful, and dedicated to contributing to the success of our communities. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow within the property management industry while working for a company renowned for its operational expertise and industry leadership.
