The Assistant Community Manager role at Balaciano Group is a full-time position based at the Dronfield Astoria Apartments in Sylmar, California. Offering an hourly pay rate ranging from $22.00 to $25.00, this role is integral to supporting the Community Manager with the overall daily operations of the community. The Assistant Community Manager will play a pivotal part in leasing activities, resident relations, administrative functions, maintenance coordination, and ensuring the smooth operation of property management tasks. This position demands an individual who is highly organized, effective in communication, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will own the full leasing lifecycle which includes showing apartments, leasing to qualified prospects, handling lease renewals, and maintaining accurate resident records.
Day-to-day responsibilities require someone who is a hands-on leader and consistently delivers excellent customer service while meeting and exceeding leasing goals. You will routinely inspect the property, coordinate collection and documentation of revenues, and handle delinquent accounts promptly in collaboration with the accounting department. The role also demands proficiency with technological tools such as Microsoft Office, Yardi Voyager, and Customer Relationship Management software, further enhancing task efficiency and timely performance.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- ensure efficient and courteous response to all resident requests
- assist the Community Manager in ongoing resident relations, addressing resident issues, enforcing rental agreements, and overseeing rental activities
- provide excellent customer service and meet leasing goals with prospects and current tenants
- demonstrate a professional and customer service-focused demeanor
- lease to qualified prospects by showing apartments
- assist with lease renewals including initial contact and follow-up
- routinely inspect property and maintain accurate resident records
- coordinate collection and documentation of all revenues
- collect delinquent accounts promptly
- communicate with accounting to ensure accuracy of rent roll and accounts receivable
- use Microsoft Office, Yardi Voyager, and CRM tools to review tasks and ensure timely performance
- perform additional responsibilities as assigned
