Job Requirements

  • culinary degree highly desired but not required
  • minimum three years culinary management experience
  • ability to direct and lead staff
  • proficient knife skills
  • knowledge of kitchen operations
  • valid health card
  • ability to obtain and maintain Food Manager Certification
  • basic computer skills
  • fluent English communication skills
  • ability to work under pressure
  • excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • creative approach to plating
  • team collaboration
  • preferred union environment knowledge

Job Qualifications

  • team player with willingness to assist in all kitchen phases
  • preferred knowledge of union environments

Job Duties

  • support culinary management in cost control and inventory completion
  • manage and train kitchen staff
  • support chef de parties and cooks
  • supervise food production ensuring quality standards
  • ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards
  • maintain Wynn food quality and operational standards
  • mentor and coach staff
  • implement policies promoting workplace safety
  • encourage team participation in decision making
  • monitor and report potential safety or quality issues
