Job Duties
- ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures and policies
- lead training initiatives
- provide performance feedback
- foster open communication among team members
- set daily priorities and delegate preparation tasks to the kitchen staff
- design daily specials in collaboration with the executive chef
- review banquet event orders to accommodate any changes accordingly
- communicate effectively with the team both verbally and in writing to ensure clarity and efficiency
- conduct daily inventory checks of food supplies
- order necessary supplies ensuring correct storage and quality upon receipt
- collaborate with the steward to assess equipment needs and review cleaning schedules while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
