This role is based at the Comstock Park Retail In-Store branch located at 3999 Alpine Ave NW. This unique branch operates within a retail setting, situated in prominent stores such as Walmart, Meijer, and Kroger, providing convenient access to members where they shop. The branch operates Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with Sundays closed.

The Retail In-Store Assistant Branch Manager position offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader who thrives on delivering exceptional member service in a fast-paced retail environment. The successful candidate will be charismatic, friendly, and a natural problem solver who excels as a team player. Their primary responsibility will be to help drive branch success by motivating and coaching the team, managing day-to-day branch operations, and providing personalized financial guidance to members. This position emphasizes relationship-building, needs-based selling, and active engagement with in-store customers to identify financial needs and offer relevant credit union products and services.

As an assistant branch manager, you will not only serve as a motivator and leader for the staff but also represent the Michigan First Credit Union brand with positivity and professionalism. You'll have the chance to make meaningful connections with members and prospective members, contributing to an outstanding customer experience. This role also involves detailed management tasks including staff scheduling, reporting and analysis of branch activities, and helping orchestrate joint promotions with the retailer to drive growth.

The organization offers competitive pay and benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, employer-paid life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with generous matching, tuition reimbursement, and wellness programs. Team members benefit from amenities such as a fitness center, subsidized cafe, and an onsite bowling center, reinforcing a work environment that values well-being and community. The credit union is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to cultivating an inclusive and engaging workplace.

For individuals who are passionate about finance, enjoy interacting with people, and want to grow their leadership skills in a reputable and growing organization, this role with Michigan First Credit Union represents a fulfilling career path with opportunities for advancement and personal growth.
