Wind Creek Event Center is a premier entertainment venue located within the Wind Creek Bethlehem Casino & Resort. The Event Center features a 2,000-seat theater and a 3,500-capacity general admission club configuration, offering an intimate yet dynamic setting for world-class entertainment. The position of Assistant Box Office Manager, Ticketing & Box Office Operations, is a vital leadership role that supports the daily functioning and success of the Ticketing Department. Reporting closely to the Director of Ticketing and VP of Finance, this role involves supervising the Box Office sales team—including Box Office Sellers and Premium Sales Representatives—and ensuring efficient ticket operations. The Assistant Box Office Manager is entrusted with responsibilities encompassing staff development, ticket revenue growth, financial accountability, and elevating the guest experience.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a collaborative approach to leadership with a passion for live entertainment and a strong background in financial discipline and team development. The role requires managing a fast-paced, customer-focused environment while supporting a high volume of ticketing transactions and maintaining operational excellence. This role requires hands-on involvement in recruiting, training, scheduling, and coaching the team while establishing performance standards. Supporting the Director of Ticketing in areas like event building and ticket configurations within Ticketmaster is crucial to ensuring accuracy and seamless public ticket onsales.

This full-time, exempt position demands flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and event days, reflecting the live entertainment schedule. The Assistant Box Office Manager is expected to be a visible presence during events, actively contributing to guest satisfaction and operational success. A competitive annual salary ranging from $50,000 to $60,000 is offered, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package supporting health, well-being, and professional growth.

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • experience with Ticketmaster Host, TM Sales or comparable ticketing platform
  • experience with show settlements, audits and communicating with agencies and/or promoters
  • strong leadership, financial, organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and interact with executive leadership
  • ability to successfully complete all required pre-employment screenings including background and credit check
  • experience in a self-promoted concert venue, casino entertainment venue, arena, theater, or performing arts center with high volume preferred
  • experience with premium seating, suite sales, group sales, gift card programs, event settlements, and ticketing analytics preferred
  • previous supervisory or management experience is a plus

Job Duties

  • Supervise, schedule, train, coach, and evaluate Box Office Sellers and Premium Sales Representatives
  • recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop staff fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, sales excellence, and exceptional guest service
  • establish performance expectations and coach on consultative selling, premium seating, suite sales, group sales, gift card sales, and customer engagement
  • conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and professional development
  • serve as acting department leader in the absence of the Director of Ticketing
  • support management of the daily Box Office operations
  • support the Director of Ticketing in building, configuring, testing, and maintaining events within Ticketmaster
  • review event builds for accuracy including seating manifests, pricing, holds, fees, offers, and ticket configurations
  • maintain announcements, presales, public onsales, ticket limits, offers, and VIP information within the Momentus event management system
  • ensure ticketing information remains current across internal systems
  • drive revenue through ticket sales, premium seating, suite sales, group sales, and gift card sales
  • monitor sales performance, inventory, and pacing reports identifying opportunities to maximize attendance and revenue
  • coordinate ticketing activities and event deadlines with internal and external stakeholders
  • perform other duties and special projects as assigned
  • oversee daily cash reconciliation, deposits, ticket audits, and event settlement preparation
  • ensure compliance with cash handling procedures and internal financial controls
  • assist with financial reporting, settlements, and revenue reconciliation
  • maintain accurate ticketing records and departmental documentation
  • deliver exceptional guest service resolving escalated customer concerns
  • identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, sales performance, and guest experience
