The role of the Assistant Box Office Manager at Legends Global is a vital position that supports the Box Office Manager in overseeing all ticket sales and box office operations. This position plays a crucial role in the day-to-day function of the box office, acting both personally and through subordinates to ensure smooth ticketing operations and exceptional customer service. The Assistant Box Office Manager is responsible for managing various administrative and operational procedures, including preparing business transaction reports, handling nightly deposits and reconciliations, and maintaining accurate inventories of tickets. Job Duties
- prepares or assists with preparation of a daily report of business transactions
- prepares nightly deposits and reconciliations
- supervises and schedules ticket sellers and completes weekly payroll
- processes group sales orders and complimentary ticket requests
- assists in coordinating all event information between the promoter, facility personnel and the ticket company
- maintains communication with ticket company representatives for updates and revisions
- assists or prepares cash bank and daily inventory of tickets
- assists with preparation of final box office statement for each event
- responds to customer complaints and service requests
- maintains files on events including seats on hold and ticket inventory
- maintains accurate count of tickets sold and cash received
- sells tickets as needed
- opens or closes ticket window
- dispenses tickets and handles payments
- fills seat reservations by phone or mail
- handles Will-Call window
- demonstrates excellent customer service skills
- answers questions about prices, seating and events
- gives information on upcoming attractions
