The Bar Attendant role at Resorts World Las Vegas is a dynamic position focused on delivering excellent guest service in a fast-paced, upscale bar setting. This role involves greeting and welcoming guests professionally, maintaining the cleanliness and organized appearance of the bar area, and ensuring it is fully stocked with necessary supplies for efficient service. Attendants are expected to replenish ice coolers, garnish trays, and other bar essentials while keeping all equipment clean and functional. This position requires a proactive approach to anticipating guest needs and responding swiftly with a sense of urgency.

Bar Attendants also participate in property-wide events such as modeling programs, casino special events, banquet services, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities, sometimes serving as brand ambassadors and representatives. They work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and must ensure compliance with all licensing requirements and internal policies. A high level of professionalism, teamwork, and friendliness is vital to be successful in this position.

This role not only focuses on the operational aspects of bar service but also on providing an engaging guest experience that reflects Resorts World Las Vegas’s dedication to quality and hospitality excellence. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Previous experience working in a bar or restaurant setting
  • Ability to multitask and react quickly in times of need
  • Team player attitude with a professional yet friendly personality
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Position required licenses including food handler card, alcohol awareness card, non-gaming card

Job Qualifications

  • General knowledge of beverages including coffee, tea, and alcoholic beverages
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine and beer, with an emphasis on craft cocktails and mixology
  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome all guests in a professional manner
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the bar area
  • Ensure the bar is properly stocked with supplies necessary for service
  • Replenish ice coolers, garnish trays, straws and napkins holders
  • Ensure bar equipment and supplies are clean and in working order
  • Anticipate the guests' needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency
  • Perform all opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment
