Job Description

Our establishment is an upscale hotel featuring multiple food and beverage outlets, including a hotel bar, cocktail lounge, coffee shop, room service, and a concierge lounge. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Bar Manager to join our team. This role will primarily involve assisting in the supervision of daily operations across our food and beverage outlets, with a primary focus on the hotel bar and cocktail lounge. The Assistant Bar Manager will also provide oversight assistance for other outlets including the coffee shop, room service, and concierge lounge. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring both guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining adherence to the operating budget. This role requires maintaining the highest standards of service and legal compliance throughout the departments under supervision.

The Assistant Bar Manager will manage the daily operational tasks and support in inventory management such as ordering supplies like food, beverages, cleaning materials, and uniforms as necessary. The ability to ensure rigorous compliance with food and beverage policies and procedures is essential. The candidate will be expected to support and supervise a self-inspection program designed to uphold continuous improvement in operations and guest safety. Additionally, the role requires hands-on operational involvement, including the use and reporting of any malfunctions in department equipment. Supervisory abilities are crucial to maintaining appropriate staffing levels for smooth guest service and operational efficiency. Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent required
bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
minimum of 2 years of experience in food and beverage management or related field
strong communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
knowledge of food and beverage industry regulations and standards
proficient in microsoft office and POS systems
