We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, teamwork, and excellent customer service, operating seasonally from mid-May through October 31st. Our team works collaboratively to create a lively yet relaxed atmosphere where guests can unwind, socialize, and enjoy expertly crafted drinks and carefully prepared light bites. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Bar & Cafe Attendant to support our daily operations during the busy season. This seasonal position offers an hourly compensation rate of $20.00 and plays a crucial role in assisting with beverage preparation, food service, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar and cafe areas. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, demonstrating reliability, eagerness to learn, and excellent communication skills.
As an Assistant Bar & Cafe Attendant, you will help prepare and batch house beverages such as sangria and spritz selections during designated preparation times. Your support in bartending will involve preparing and serving a variety of drinks under supervision, including wine, sangria, and spritz. Additionally, you will be responsible for operating the point-of-sale (POS) system to efficiently process guest orders, ensuring accuracy and timely service.
Furthermore, this role includes assisting with gelato service using a capsule-style system, barista duties like preparing coffee and espresso beverages, and serving light bites such as oysters, shrimp, olives, and focaccia while adhering to food safety and presentation standards. Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar, cafe, and service areas at all times is paramount.
The position also involves assisting with opening and closing duties, including setup, stocking, breakdown, and thorough cleaning. You will restock supplies as needed and communicate inventory requirements to management to ensure smooth operations. Providing friendly and attentive guest service while supporting team members fosters a positive and welcoming atmosphere, integral to the success of our establishment.

- previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
