Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe is a prestigious and intimate retreat set in the scenic Sangre de Cristo foothills, just minutes from the vibrant cultural and shopping district of downtown Santa Fe. The Assistant Banquets Manager position at Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe offers an exciting leadership opportunity for hospitality professionals passionate about food and beverage management and service excellence. This role is vital in overseeing all banquet operations, from conferences and weddings to receptions and special events both onsite and at external locations. As Assistant Banquets Manager, you will lead by example, working alongside your team to ensure all events meet Four Seasons' exacting standards. You'll be responsible for managing all logistical and service aspects, maintaining visibility during events, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Your leadership will empower team members, foster professional development, and create an uplifting workplace culture where trust and openness are prioritized. This position requires at least two years of banquet management experience, preferably within a luxury hospitality setting, and demands flexibility with scheduling to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Requirements
- 2+ years of banquet event management experience
- Flexible schedule - availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Current New Mexico Food Handler and Alcohol Server certifications
- Ability to stand and move around for the entire shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs
- US work authorization unless currently in a managerial position at a Four Seasons location
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of banquet event management experience, preferably in a luxury hospitality environment
- Strong passion for hospitality and a natural ability to connect authentically with guests
- High level of product knowledge in food and wine
- Integrity and accountability in all actions
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Business acumen with ability to control expenses and meet budgets
- Ability to make confident decisions to deliver a luxury-level experience
Job Duties
- Oversee all banquet operations including conference and banquet rooms, individual receptions, weddings, events, and celebrations throughout the resort as well as offsite locations
- Maintain visibility and accessibility during service and events, providing guest recognition and professionally handling concerns or special requests
- Monitor and evaluate products and service standards, proactively staying ahead of industry trends
- Ensure full compliance with food, health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations
- Take a hands-on leadership approach, working alongside the team while ensuring all Four Seasons standards are consistently met
- Empower and develop team members, investing in growth and craftsmanship
- Foster an environment that nurtures trust, openness, and connection
- Assist with recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and training of team members
- Provide support across all resort food and beverage outlets as needed and participate in task force opportunities at other Four Seasons properties
