Job Requirements

- Minimum 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, or related professional area
- Proven leadership abilities

Job Duties
- Assist in managing departmental inventories and assets including par levels and maintenance of equipment
- Maintain attendance log for banquet employees
- Enforce established sanitation levels
- Adhere to and reinforce all standards, policies, and procedures
- Ensure employee awareness of meeting planner survey and guest satisfaction scores
- Order supplies for the department including china, glass, silver, buffet presentations, and service equipment
- Use banquet beverage records to guide liquor cost control and inventory management
- Assist in scheduling banquet staff to meet service standards and maximize profits
- Attend and participate in pertinent meetings
- Lead shifts and actively participate in event servicing
- Apply and broaden knowledge of food and wine pairings and event presentation
- Set a positive example for guest relations
- Interact with guests to obtain feedback and handle complaints
- Empower employees to provide excellent customer service
- Support departmental orientation and training programs
- Provide feedback on employee service behaviors
- Review guest satisfaction results with employees
