Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 years experience in banquet management
  • ServSafe certification
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • excellent communication
  • proficiency with POS systems
  • capacity to manage both FOH and BOH operations
  • commitment to safety and sanitation standards
  • dependable and detail oriented
  • efficient time management

Job Qualifications

  • Certificate(s) or license(s): ServSafe
  • 3 years of prior banquet management experience
  • familiarity with POS systems
  • knowledge of front and back of house operations
  • inventory management skills
  • team building and collaboration skills
  • strong communication skills
  • detail oriented
  • dependable
  • time management skills
  • willingness and ability to learn new tasks, systems and technologies

Job Duties

  • Manage day-to-day operations of banquets and catering in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • coordinate the maintenance and development methods for high quality preparation of food
  • assist in the maintenance and development of procedures for food service
  • present menu items for maximum customer satisfaction
  • assist in managing staffing levels and shift assignments
  • assist in hiring and training team members
  • develop and hold the team accountable to standards
  • ensure adherence to operational basics, standards, SOPs, and SIPs in both FOH and BOH
  • enforce safety and sanitation procedures
  • exercise good judgement and be a role model within the restaurant
  • learn new tasks, systems, and technologies
  • perform all other duties as assigned
